Between 2007 and 2013, around the time of my retirement, I wrote a number of songs about life on the canals of England. These found their way onto a home-produced CD which I was happy to give to anyone who showed an interest, and even some who didn’t. Since then I have written a few more, so have put mp3 versions of all the songs on this website as well as some on SoundCloud. mp3 files on this site should be downloadable. Each song page on this website gives the lyrics, guitar chords and recordings. These songs can all be downloaded from this site or from my SoundCloud area which is entitled ‘WaterwaySongs’. Having hardly picked up a guitar whilst earning a crust for 40 years, I’m aware of my musical limitations but am quite pleased with the lyrics I crafted about a subject I hold dear.
